Metabolic engineering for green growth

  1. The 2010 Metabolic Engineering Best Poster Awards and the 2010 Young Metabolic Engineer Award
     An awards committee will select the best posters from the posters presentations on Sunday, Monday, and Tuesday. This competition is limited to graduate students and post docs. Five posters will be selected and given the Best Poster Awards. The authors will be notified at the end of the poster session on Tuesday and will be in competition for the 2010 Young Metabolic Engineer Award, which is given to the Best of the Best. The authors will be given the opportunity for a ten minute oral presentation on late Wednesday.
     The 2010 Young Metabolic Engineering Awardee will be presented with a certificate/plaque, a gift and US$500 and the four other awardees will each be presented a certificate, a gift and US$300.

     Wiley Biotechnology Journal Best Poster Award on Metabolic Engineering
     The Wiley Biotechnology Journal Best Poster Award on Metabolic Engineering is open to all poster presentations. The winner will receive a certificate, a gift, and a one year online subscription to the journal.
     
     

  3. Wiley Biotechnology and Bioengineering Best Poster Award on Metabolic Engineering
     The Wiley Biotechnology and Bioengineering Best Poster Award on Metabolic Engineering is open to all poster presentations. The winner will receive a certificate, a gift and US$300.
     
     

  4. Nature Chemical Biology Best Poster Award on Metabolic Engineering
     The Nature Chemical Biology Best Poster Award on Metabolic Engineering is open to all poster presentations. The winner will receive a certificate, a gift and one year free subscription to online and print versions of the journal.
     
     

  5. Elsevier Metabolic Engineering Best Poster Award on Metabolic Engineering
     The Elsevier Metabolic Engineering Best Poster Award on Metabolic Engineering is open to all poster presentations. The winner will receive a certificate, a gift and two year free subscription to online and print versions of the journal.

There might be more poster awards depending on further support available. They will be announced before the conference.
